Ok, it’s no secret that I have tattoos. But recently I’ve been flirting with the idea of getting a sleeve. Eek, I know right? Before I totally commit to the idea of getting my right arm inked the F up—I went on the search for a temporary tat so that I could test the waters and see if I really liked having a large tattoo on my arm. That’s when Inkbox comes into play. I found them on Pinterest. Don’t you find everything on Pinterest or is it just me? They have some of the most realistic looking tattoos ever that actually last two whole weeks. If you’ve been itching for some ink but don’t want to make a huge commitment, give Inkbox a try. The application is super easy, the designs are dope and it actually lasts the entire 2 weeks!
I don’t know about you but I have to take a bath a least once a week. See the way my stress is set up, a sista needs a dip in the tub to relax and melt her troubles away. My favorite thing to add to my bath– is Oh Honey Skincare’s Vanilla Rose Milk Bath. It smells like literal heaven! I’m not lying– I feel like I am lying in a bed of legit roses every time I sprinkle some of it into my bath! And listen, the way my skin feels afterward is INSANE! My skin is super soft and moisturized.
I love me some Saana K and her super dope illustrations! I found her ages ago on Tumblr and I’ve been a major fan ever since! She creates some of the most stylish, diverse and absolutely fly illustrations that capture the everyday lives of Parisian women. From Sipping on Starbucks, making boss moves and stalking the ex with the bestie–Sanaa’s work is for the girl who’s just trying to live her best life and look cute while doing it. Take a peek at some of her work below + be sure to follow her on the gram (@sanaak) to keep up with her latest illustrations. P.S. I love following her IG because she speaks French and I get to get my practice on! 😜

When was the last time you put a song on repeat and let it ride out all day long? Me? This week it’s been the ever so sweet and simple “I can’t” by vocalist Braxton Cook. It’s the perfect ride down Lakeshore Drive with the windows down song. Or slow dance up on your boo thang song. Check it out here—
I stumbled upon this devotional on the Bible app and it’s really been such a blessing in my life. Time to get a little transparent—this past month I’ve been on a journey to discover self-love. For most of my adult life, I’ve been in toxic and draining relationships and friendships. This summer I finally let go of some people, places, and thangs that were draining the living daylights out of me. I really wanted to focus on what it truly means to love myself. At first, I started treating myself to mani’s, Pedi’s and shopping trips galore but then I realized–that can’t be all that self- care and self -love is. Right? No amount of nail polish was going to get me to really love myself. I started journaling again and really hashed out some of my feelings and I worked really closely with my therapist to get to the root of what made me stay in those relationships for so long. And it all boiled down to me not believing that I was worthy of love (from self or anyone else—deep right?) So when I saw this devotional in the Bible app I knew I wanted to dive in and it’s been so special to read thus far. It’s only a 5-day devotional in the app and I plan on buying the full book on Amazon. But for this week, the 66 Ways God Loves You plan has helped me realize that I am special and if the God of the universe loves me passionately than I can love me too. Oh and another honorable mention– is the “You Are Loved” Devotional in the Bible App. I started this one as soon as the 66 Ways devo ended and it’s been major too!
