Lately, I’ve been trying my hardest to adopt a clean-ish lifestyle. Ok maybe not my hardest, because every blue moon I still eat a $0.99 bag of Hot Flammings but you catch my drift. There’s nothing I want more than to be about that healthy life, but the struggle is real yo!
In trying to change my eating habits I also have been putting forth an effort to use natural products on my hair and skin. (Check out my review of my favorite natural skin care line Selah, Be. )
On a recent trip to Marshall’s, I stumbled across a bottle of Pearlessence Rose Water Hydrating Face Mist.
I have a good friend Bonita who uses Rose Water for Every. Sangle. Thang. so I thought I’d follow her lead and give the face mist a whirl. I wanted to try it because recently I’ve been suffering from stress breakouts and when my skin isn’t breaking out it is dull and lifeless.
Now after a few weeks of using it, I am so glad I broke my promise to stop buying things I don’t necessarily need and got this heaven sent mist lol! The Lord is still working on me and my shopping addiction.
Ever since I started using the face mist I’ve noticed that my skin looks a lot healthier and vibrant, here’s why.
Rose Water is a natural anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial agent. The good news is that while it’s kicking the bacteria that’s been causing acne butt (darn you acne!) it also packs a major hydration punch, which is a killer combo for those who suffer from acne and general skin irritation due to dryness like I do.
I’ve been using Rose Water for everything. I’m not kidding I use it as perfume when I want a light fragrance, toner after I cleanse my face and I spritz it on after I do my makeup to give my look some glow.
I also read online that you can use Rose Water to give your baggy eyes some TLC, as a makeup remover that works similarly to Micellar Water and as relaxing aromatherapy when added to your bath water.
Thanks to Rose Water my skin is glowing again, which means it will definitely be a beauty staple of mine, FOR-EV-ER! What’s one of your favorite natural beauty must haves? Let me know in the comment section!
If you can’t get your hands on Pearlessence at your local TjMaxx or Marshall’s give Mario Badescu Facial Spray With Aloe, Herb and Rosewater a try! Can be found at Ulta for $7.00
